Uniform & Clothing Pool

Students at St John the Apostle wear a school uniform.

In late 2020 the Community Council agreed to a number of changes to the school uniform.  The key focus of these changes was to allow for a more modern design of the sports uniform and more durable fabric for the polo shirts and hat.

Changes to the uniform will be a two-year transition, with all students expected to be in the new uniform by the beginning of 2023, with the exception of Kindergarten 2022 beginning with the new uniform items. This will allow current students to continue to wear old uniform items and outgrow them before purchasing new uniform items.

Purchasing the school uniform

All school uniform items are available at the school Clothing Pool & Uniform Shop. Run by the Community Council and staffed by parent volunteers, our Clothing Pool & Uniform Shop is always very helpful, supporting parents by providing the right uniform items at affordable prices. The price list is available in our Information Packs from the Front Office and in the Qkr app. Most school uniform items are also available from MacDonald's Schoolwear at the Jamison Centre.

The new Sports Uniform is now available for purchase from the Clothing Pool.

The Clothing Pool have a range of current uniform options in limited sizes that are heavily discounted. This may be a great option for students in Years 5 and 6 who need new uniforms but only for a short period of time during the transtion period. A range of second-hand uniform options also remain available for purchase. These items are only available for in-person purchase at the Clothing Pool.

When purchasing uniforms the preferred method of payment is via the Qkr app. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we appreciate minimal use of cash sales where possible.

Clothing Pool is open most Friday mornings before school during term times. Other open times are advertised on SZapp each week.

Questions for the clothing pool can be emailed to stjohnsclothingpool@gmail.com
